AGENT Consulting was established in 1998 with a focus on project management in the area of information technology for Development (ICT4D) with particular interest and focus on the use of Information Technology for Educational Development. AGENT operates in the Middle East and Africa with emphasis on underserved communities and groups, attempting to identify the immense potential offered by information technology in supporting economic and social development. In line with the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) stipulated in the UN Millennium Summit 2000; AGENT Consulting works at creating the necessary networks of partnerships and coalitions to best serve local communities at grass root levels in an upward sustainable manner.
